MEMBERSHIP &
TO FORM A SEPARATE AAO ASSN. PLEASE THINK OVER….
Dear friends
Of late it’s learnt
that a faction of our AAO members are thinking to quit AIDAEA (HQ) Kolkata and
going to form a separate organization exclusively for AAO. Since last nine
decades this category of employees in DAD never felt necessity to detach them
from a main stream. So far their issues have been raised by AIDAEA (HQ) Kolkata
not only in JCM forums but united movements empowered both of us to achieve many
rights viz., 80-20 issues, Secretariat scale etc. Many have been achieved and
many are to be.
Kolkata Association
recently tagged with the largest workers (3crores above) association of the
country, INTUC to strengthen more.
So at this stage any
disintegration from main stream movement certainly weakens the united power of DAD
employees. Before such decision stakeholders should think over merits and
demerits.
Merit:-
1.
AAO organization will
have individual identity.
2.
AAO issues can be
discussed on demand but no JCM rights.
Demerits:-
1.
Will lose scope
to discuss AAO matters in JCM forum.
2.
In future they cannot
revert back to any recognized DAD association.
3.
Revolutionary AAOs
be easily identified.
4.
None of the present
DAD associations can plead for AAOs in future.
